General information

What is the date and location of the conference?

The conference will take place from 24 - 26 November 2025 at Millennium Point, Birmingham. Find out more about our conference venue.  The conference dinner and IET Excellence and Innovation Awards are being held at the nearby Library of Birmingham.

How can I register for the conference?

You can book your place at the conference online via our registration page.

What is the cost of attending the conference?

Are there any discounts available for early registration or group bookings?

Yes, there is an early bird rate up until November 2025, and there are group discounts for bookings of two or more delegates. See more details on our registration page.

What is the conference schedule?

You can view the detailed schedule for the conference on our Programme page. Here, you can filter by day or conference track and even bookmark your favourites.

Speakers and sessions

Who are the keynote speakers?

You can find details of all our industry speakers listed under each conference track on the website. The conference will also feature academic authors specially selected to present their papers.

Are there any travel discounts available for attendees?

IET members can apply for a Travel Award to support their professional development. Our Travel Awards have enabled recipients to attend international conferences, collaborate with global experts, and advance their research. On-site information

Will meals be provided during the conference?

Yes, refreshments, lunch, and a drinks reception are included. Once you have registered as a delegate, we will invite you to inform us of any dietary requirements. 

Is there Wi-Fi available at the venue?

Yes, this information will be available at the registration desk on arrival at the conference.

Does attending the conference count towards CPD hours?

Yes, 16 CPD hours and Certificate of Attendance (+7 if attending tutorial).
